The Hidden Sky

February 24 & 28, 2009

Winner of the Richard Rodgers Award. The world as we know it is no more. In its place, a society exists where math, science and the thirst for the unknown have been forbidden by the government and forgotten by the populace. This award-winning music-theater piece tells the story of Ganil, a young woman whose longing for knowledge leads her on a passionate journey of discovery. With an eclectic score featuring lush choral singing and contemporary rhythms, this workshop production of The Hidden Sky is a mythical tale of aspiration, awakening, and the indomitable human spirit.
